Cybersecurity Engineer:
Job Summary:
The Engineering includes Cybersecurity among a host of aspects and the Cybersecurity team is well supported by the Global Engineering Standards Organization and the Technology to deliver “Project Certainty” to meet our customer’s demands.
The Junior Cybersecurity Engineer is a member of Emerson’s Cybersecurity group. This position focuses on Cybersecurity and will act as an integral part of a highly technical team focused on developing and delivering Cybersecurity services and solutions to our customers located in the Middle East
and Africa with this specific role being passionate about projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Foster a positive environment in a Cyber Team for work and professional growth.
- Support the Cybersecurity Operations Manager and Cybersecurity BDM in achieving the regional Cyber Security business targets in the region.
- Perform base customer support activities as needed, including phone support, field service and remote diagnostics, as well as:
- Assisting customers in development of cybersecurity plans and/or programs
- Providing ISA and Local Standards compliance support services
- Implementing recommended mitigation/remediation strategies
- Installation, configuration and tuning of Emerson Cybersecurity solutions.
- Interface with Emerson Field Support Engineers, regional offices and expert resources as needed to resolve issues.
- Continually and proactively increase one’s technical capabilities, growing and establishing higher levels of expertise.
- Assist in product equipment, support labs, and group capital equipment.
- Help to enhance the value of the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence by contributing towards additional group activities/tasks, developing new internal/external solutions, and assisting with training (as appropriate).

Who you are?
- Experience such as Cybersecurity for OT systems as part of an internship will be given preferential treatment.
- Experience such on DCS systems as part of an internship will be given preferential treatment.
- This position requires detailed understanding of Emerson solutions and applicable Cybersecurity solutions
For this Role, You Will Need:
- The position requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
- This is an entry level job and doesn’t require extensive prior experience.
Preferred qualification set apart:
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity appliances, applications, tools and techniques used in DeltaV and in other applications.
- Conversant with DeltaV Networking, DeltaV Cybersecurity solutions, and antivirus solutions.
- Possess troubleshooting skills (i.e. diagnosing and resolving computer related issues).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in a formal environment.
- The ability to work effectively with internal and external customers is essential.
- Working knowledge of ISA/IEC 62443 and DeltaV Cybersecurity manual
