Document Services Operator - IT Depot
Job Description
To provide IT Hardware replacement of EU devices for the business. To configure hardware equipment to ensure successful plug and play at Hertz location. To provide detailed reporting on volumes and accurately maintain stock reporting and levels.
A Day in the Life- What You’ll Do:
- Resolve all EU IT Depot tickets within the required SLA.
- Follow the break/replace process to send required hardware to Hertz locations, tracking the shipments and ensuring delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate asset management tracking and stock level reporting, with minimum stock level limits and provide information to the customer to maintain appropriate stock levels. Liaise with 3rd party vendors to get pricing, quotes, expected delivery dates and receipt and tracking of goods.
- Reporting: Generation of management reports on financial, volume and performance, used for presentation to Technology Management and to compile reports as requested on operational issues and to input and track all daily costs to facilitate budgeting.
- To review operations on a regular basis and propose changes which will increase efficiency & reduce costs as part of our continuous improvement culture.
- To compile reports as requested by the Document Service Manager, Project Manager or Technology Management on cost, operational issues and to input and track all daily costs to facilitate budgeting.
- To ensure any other administration work required is carried out in a timely fashion.
- To assist in other daily operational tasks as requested by the Document Service Manager, Project Manager or Technology Management. To provide cover for other Document Services functions, including package shipping, document archival, document destruction, mailing services etc.
What We’re Looking For:
· Must be detail oriented and highly organised in approach to work.
· Ability to meet and set deadlines and targets.
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel essential.
· Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Must be able to communicate with employees at various levels within the organisation.
· Customer focused in approach to liaising with other Departments.
· Ability to be pro-active and innovation in approach to problem solving. Able to demonstrate problem-solving skills.
· Previous IT Support and Hardware experience and knowledge advantageous.

Performance Measures:
- SLA: ship hardware equipment same day if ticket is received by 12pm.
- BAU process deadlines as specified by the client.
- To meet deadlines set by the client.
