Job Details
If you have an interest in a catering career with Fife Council, why not join one of our many teams of Commercial Catering Assistants within Glenrothes. We currently have a vacancy to join our team based at the Fifer Restaurant, Fife House, Glenrothes.
- 15 hours per week, 52 week contract as required Monday to Friday for lunch service.
This is a permanent post all year round, working as required between the hours of 10:00am to 2:00pm Monday to Friday.
You will earn a competitive salary of £22,525.71 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including
- £12.00 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
- Pay is every 4 weeks.

This work is about providing customer service, in a busy café environment. Ensuring staff and visitors are catered for accordingly - this involves preparing and serving simple meals, snacks and beverages to clients and recording any payments. All on the job training is given as well as working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate qualification.
The Person
Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a team.
You will be required to attend induction training before starting in post.
