Complex Products Middle Office Associate

This is a unique opportunity for you to work in Wealth Management Operations team to partner with the Business to provide a comprehensive view of Foreign exchange Market (FX)/ Derivatives Products.
The Trade Support Associate in Wealth Management, you will support the end-to-end lifecycle of Foreign Exchange and Over the Counter Derivatives from Dodd Frank and International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) onboarding, to establishing eligibility, to trade execution, and all the way through maturity/expiration. The team is responsible for monitoring and helping with trade booking, book building, settlements, fails, regulatory requests, reference data, etc. Within the context of the team, they will work independently to prioritize the daily work and to ensure all requisite procedures and controls are adhered to. Additionally, the Trade Support Associate will work with internal partners and external 3rd parties to ensure accurate transaction processing, timely response to inquiries, and to resolve issues as they arise. There will be a heightened level of project management responsibilities to keep pace with an aggressive agenda.
Job responsibilities
- Confirm and validate FX and Derivatives trades executed by Front Office Solutions/Advisors.
- Ensure accurate and timely trade capture in trading systems.
- Resolve trade discrepancies and breaks in coordination with front office and counterparties.
- Ensure accurate position reporting and escalate discrepancies as needed.
- Coordinate with back-office teams to ensure accurate and timely settlement of trades.
- Perform daily reconciliations of cash and positions between internal systems and external counterparties.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.
- Participate in system upgrades and testing to ensure seamless integration with trading activities.
- Provide exceptional service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a middle office, operations, or trade support role within financial services
- Strong understanding of FX and Derivatives products and markets.
- Proficiency in trading systems (e.g., Bloomberg, etc.) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Advanced degree Master of Business Administration (MBA) or relevant professional certifications.
- Experience with reconciliation tools and trade lifecycle management systems.
- Familiarity with Structure Query Language (SQL) or other data analysis tools, Alteryx, Python and AI
