Salary: FC3 £22,525.71 to £23,633.23 per year pro rata
Working Pattern: 4.25 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (Wednesday 16:15-20:30, Thursday 16:15-20:30, Sunday 10:45-15:00)

Job Details
If appointed, you will be a member of an area team providing both janitorial and leisure attendant support to the Community Use team working both inside and outside the facility. Under the leadership and direction of the facility Lead Officer, you may have a range of responsibilities including:
- Ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for our pool users
- Providing emergency treatment as/when required
- Providing an efficient service by ensuring all areas are ready for activities or sessions, ensuring areas are clean, tidy and set up
- Assisting with the directing of customers to allocated areas having consulted with reception colleagues and being aware of programme requirements
- Ensuring PPE is available for customers and replenished for instructors / tutors and toilet / reception areas
- Checking booking summary with customers using outside areas and ensuring Covid guidelines are adhered to by all – managing entry/exit to astro
- Be aware of risk assessments and procedures in relation to building operations ie equipment, emergency evacuation
- Working alongside other janitorial staff to ensure smooth transition and service
- Ensuring procedures are adhered to

The Person
If you meet the essential qualification criteria outlined below, we’d like to hear from you:
- Valid NPLQ Qualification
- Standard Grades (level 3 or above) or National 5 (level C or above) in English and Mathematics, or equivalent.
- Good organisational and practical skills as well as a common-sense approach to different requests and situations
- Experience of dealing with customers
- Ability to follow procedures/instructions and an aptitude to be flexible
- A good positive team player
A cheery and willing personality with good organisational skills, as well as an ability to be flexible are vital for this role.
