Senior Social Content & Channel Executive - Bath & Body Works
We are looking for a Senior Social Content & Channel Executive to join our ever-growing Digital team in eCommerce, to support the Bath & Body Works channel for NEXT.
Our eCommerce websites and apps have grown steadily over the past 10 years to become one of the largest online retail platforms in the UK. We currently sell to 70 international markets, offering our 6 million active customers a personalised shopping experience and the ability to purchase from a wide range of products using multiple delivery methods and payment types.
The role
As the Senior Social & Content Executive for BBW, you will launch and grow Bath & Body Works UK & Ireland social media channels. You will be responsible for establishing and expanding the Bath & Body Works brand presence and ensuring business objectives are translated to customers in a useful and meaningful way. What else is involved?
Strategy:
- Develop and implement a new channel development strategy
- Build a robust launch plan to drive a buzz and attract new followers
- Work closely with paid social to ensure creative synergy of paid and organic content and messaging
- Develop a content strategy with a clear USP and identifiable pillars giving the prospective audience a reason to follow
Content:
- Plan and execute social media content and campaigns specifically for the UK&I markets, in line with business objectives
- Create and curate engaging, on-brand photo and video assets that are fit for channel - including self-shot assets in which you are happy to feature
- Brief content creators to produce assets which benefit social KPIs
- Aligning with brand guidelines, ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across all social media channels
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the social landscape to keep the brand relevant and engaging
- Regularly collaborate with performance marketing channels to provide, brief or create assets that translate key messages into best-in-class advertising content
- Align with the PR team to ensure influencer assets are optimised for social
- Foster and grow a community by engaging with followers, influencers and brand advocates
- Regularly scout and repost user generated content to hero the Bath & Body Works community
- Coordinate and manage social media giveaways and other interactive campaigns to drive engagement
Reporting:
- Conduct weekly and monthly reporting on social media performance, implementing actionable insights in an effort to improve metrics
- Use a social media management tool to build custom reports and circulate with key stakeholders on a regular basis
- Research and communicate competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve and position Bath & Body Works socials at the forefront of innovation
- Devise a test and work framework to understand what motivates your audience and how to engage them via various content types and formats
- Use social listening to monitor audience sentiment and identify new content opportunities
Communication:
- Ability to work cross functionally across various teams such as Bath & Body Works US team, Buying and Merch, PR, Performance, Brand and Trade teams
- Must be confident to represent organic social as the main point of contact for Bath & Body Works
- Communicate clearly and effectively with Bath & Body Works stakeholders, agency partners and other external contacts
- Be willing to attend all events, shoots and social engagements on behalf of the social team when and if required
You’ll be doing all this from our Central London Office, Tottenham Court Road. Our offices are inspiring, yes. But we understand that life happens. So, we’re big on making sure your work, works for you which is why we offer flexible working from this location.
What we’re looking for is someone with a wealth of experience, working in social media for a relative brand, planning and implementing campaigns with a good understanding of social media best practices. As this is a senior role, we are looking for someone that can take full responsibility of the channel and manage upwards, with essential experience of working on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat and Youtube.
