Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Demonstrate safe and environmentally sound work practices.
• Works as a team member and works effectively with other crews and departments.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools (drills, impacts, grinders).
• Construction skills in carpentry, concrete work, welding and cutting.
• Ventilation work - fan, hardline, and vent bag installation 
• Equipment Operation - Operate forklifts, underground light vehicles, skidsteer.
• Shaft conveyance maintenance and inspections.
• Identify basic rigging tools (slings, shackles, softeners)
• Ability to identify/install high and low pressure pipes, fittings, clamps.
