As our Bursar, you will become an integral part of our small school team. In addition to the bursar duties, you will carry out tasks for the headteacher and the governing body of the school.
You will carry out tasks in a range of areas, such as:
- school finance
- human resources
- school administration
- school governance support
- front of house/reception duties
- GDPR
- being part of a team for first aid / lunchtime cover.
You will need to be a self motivated individual; have a positive attitude and be able to work as a part of a team. The ability to communicate effectively with all our stakeholders, both orally and in writing is a must.
You will be responsible for your own workload and deadlines and therefore the ability to prioritise tasks is crucial.
Experience of working in a similar position, including understanding and using SIMS/Arbor, ParentMail, ITrent and FMS would be advantageous, however, applications will be considered from those who have worked in a financial or school office role and would be willing to train for this position.
Hours are from 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Wednesday + 2 x 0.5 days lunch cover support.
