We are looking for a Development Engineer to join small team working on turbochargers development in commercial vehicles domain.

Your task will be to drive design and development activities (design, FEA, CFD, APQP, etc.) for development of turbocharger technologies as part of new product development. Design, simulate & qualify the turbocharger components and assemblies to meet internal validation requirements. Define and update product specification and operational limits. Validation of turbochargers to market needs, quality documents, design reviews and technical reports (External FA, PRA, DFMEA & DFM’s).

In this role you will:

• Propose & integrate technical solutions with the support of the different functional domains, working in a multi-functional environment and utilising appropriate simulation tools and methodologies.
• Design, simulate & qualify the turbocharger components and assemblies to meet internal validation requirements and customer needs.
• Build & maintain the product specifications, quality documents, design reviews and technical reports (External FA, PRA, DFMEA & DFM’s).

You will fit into the team with this profile:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related engineering discipline is needed
• Previous experience in a technical position - development and production of mechanical or electrical products is an advantage
• Deep understanding in thermodynamics & engine performance data analysis
• Experience in Turbocharger Design and FEA study analysis
• Strong ability to work in international cross-functional team
• Effective communicator that can influence, motivate, negotiate, and collaborate internally and externally in English
