Specialist, Distribution Partnerships

This role is responsible for the support and account management of midsize distribution partnership accounts with an emphasis on Travel Management Companies (TMCs), both internally and externally. The incumbent is accountable for various aspects of the account relationships and respective performance results. This includes new account implementation, capitalizing on all opportunities within their account base by supporting appropriate strategies to achieve global revenue targets, grow market share (within market segments), supporting Hertz strategic initiatives for all three brands and pursuing additional growth.

A Day in the Life:

Reporting to the Sr Director of Distribution Partnerships this role will help support the various segments of Hertz business through our distribution channels with an emphasis specifically on supporting and growing the Hertz business within Travel Management Companies (TMCs).

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Support account specific marketing plans aimed at increasing global rentals/revenue and market share for all three brands.
  • Assist with the implementation of strategies that support Hertz global priorities and new initiatives. Support growth of non-traditional and SME segments within account base. 
  • Set up a regular cadence of touch points with accounts to secure insights on industry trends that will assist Hertz management in developing tactical and strategic plans. 
  • Support a high level of customer service and maintain customer service SLAs; serve as point of contact for account service issues where appropriate. 
  • Work intra-organizationally with Revenue Management, various Marketing groups (brand, social, CRM, etc.), Field Sales, Management teams and others regarding opportunities, challenges and current market trends affecting the assigned accounts’ current state of business and performance. 
  • Document and create process maps with the goal of ensuring that third party distribution requirements are fully considered as part of the Hertz planning process. 
  • Analyze and report out to manager on accounts’ business performance metrics with recommended actions to support desired program performance. 
  • Responsible for corresponding administration: reporting, business reviews, budgets, promotions, event logistics, customer service needs and other associated tasks necessary to support the partnership. 
  • Attend in person events representing Hertz and meet with booking agents, business development managers, and other external customers to support the generation of incremental business to Hertz

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the travel related industry. 
  • B.S./B.A. degree or equivalent from four-year college/university, preferred.
  • Proven performance in roles increasing in scope or level of responsibility.
  • Ability to work with mid-level contacts both internally and externally and build relationships. 
  • Ability to be customer facing and communicate effectively with outside clientele.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and intra-organizationally with multiple contacts/departments.
  • Proficient business acumen with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills.

We expect the compensation for this position to be $60-70k with an annual profit sharing cash payout.
