Position Description
The Loulo-Gounkoto Team is seeking to recruit a Power Plant Operations Coordinator to join and grow the Hybrid Thermal HFO Power Plant team.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinating the daily operations of power-generating facilities to ensure efficient energy production.
- Coordinates all scheduled service interruptions and reports all unscheduled power interruptions including outage request & notification of process plants.
- Monitoring energy production and engines performance, adjusting operations as needed to meet energy blend strategy to ensure economical operation of the power plant.
- Review operational performance against site KPI’s, identify and discuss areas of opportunity for improvement.
- Perform first line analysis on gensets performance to maximise operations performance.
- Monitor engine performance post-maintenance to ensure desired operations targets are met according to specifications.
- Ensure all permits are obtained for work required for scheduled/unscheduled power outages, lock-out/tag-out etc.
- Provide leadership, teamwork, building skills and supervision for the operations team.
- Ensure all the safety standards are followed and all unsafe working conditions are reported.
Qualification Requirements:
- Relevant Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree / Diploma
Experience and Skills Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant supervisory experience in Thermal HFO Power Plant operations.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Thermal HFO Power Plant technology.
- Must have knowledge and experience with:
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
