Marketing Communications Intern
Collaborate across teams to develop creative marketing communication efforts from strategy to execution. Sound fun? Come join Emerson’s Process Systems and Solutions marketing communications team as a Marketing Communications Intern (Summer 2025). We are looking for a passionate and action-oriented individual to support our marketing efforts making it easier to understand and do business with Emerson. This position is located in our Austin, TX office.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Understand the strategy behind global integrated marketing campaigns launching new products, nurturing existing customers/leads, and creating industry campaigns
- Partner with the marketing campaign managers and collaborate with other subject matter experts to develop content that supports campaign objectives (e.g., graphic design, digital marketing, web development, marketing automation, etc.) ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines
- Drive the content creation for demand-generation marketing campaigns, such as social media posts, videos, podcasts, blogs, articles, advertising, website content, emails, and newsletters
For this Role, You Will Need:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications, or a related a field
- Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Previous internship experience in a professional environment
- Entering either the junior, senior or graduate year
- Demonstrated leadership skills such as serving in leadership role in student organization
- Strategic mindset
- Sample marketing content
- Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills
- Pro-active and self-motivated
- Innovative approach to problems
