HR Advisor
- East Suffolk Council, Based in Melton, IP12 1RT, or Lowestoft, NR33 0EQ (depending on candidates preference) with one day per week at The Port of Felixstowe, IP11 3SY
- £33,024 - £40,221 per annum (Career Grade)*

Your role
We have a fantastic opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our busy team.
You will provide responsive HR advice and support and will work in partnership with our customers and the team to deliver a highly effective, professional and pro-active HR service. This role will support our employees based at The Port of Felixstowe therefore you will be required to work one day per week at the Port with the HR Business Partner for this area.
You will be responsible for providing advice and support to managers in employee relations, performance management, discipline and grievance and absence management. You will also be responsible for recruitment in your designated service areas and managing occupational health cases to conclusion.
What you will need
Applicants should be CIPD level 5 qualified as a minimum, with a willingness to work towards the level 7 qualification. You will also have recent and relevant HR advisory experience including up to date knowledge of employment law, as well as strong IT, communication, and customer service skills.
*Salary offered within the grade will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
