Technology and License Management Expert
The Technology & License Asset Management team is part of the Strategic Sourcing department within the CIO Office.
As a key member of the TLAM team, you will:
- Oversee and manage Euroclear’s group software licenses in accordance with contractual agreements
- Advise IT divisions on technology investments and licensing strategies
- Report to IT Management and Finance on compliance issues and potential financial risks
- Foster and maintain relationships with Euroclear’s strategic suppliers

Content:
- You will manage software asset information and analyze license usage and infrastructure trends through regular reviews
- Ensure that software deployments comply with contractual entitlements, using agreed-upon license metrics
- Serve as a point of contact within the company for a range of requests, from simple financial queries and licensing guidance to complex analyses
- Provide support to key IT projects, assessing software licensing implications, and recommending the most appropriate licensing models to optimize investments in both current and target infrastructures
- Support major contract renewals in collaboration with Supply Chain and relevant IT teams, using your technical expertise to align purchase approaches with IT Management and Architecture objectives. Together with Supply Chain, you will define and execute negotiation strategies and take part in negotiations
- Help establish a “vendor audit-ready” mindset, supported by robust processes and governance
- Lead software audit responses initiated by software vendors, coordinating operations among affected teams, providing required information to auditors, and reporting financial risks to IT Management and Finance
- Support the journey to increase License Management Maturity from a technical, governance, and contract onboarding perspective
- Stay up to date with IT market trends and SAM (Software Asset Management) industry best practices
Your Profile
- You have 10+ years of experience in:
- License & software asset management
- You have demonstrated expertise in IT management, covering hardware, software, systems, databases, applications, or enterprise architecture
- You possess strong analytical skills and can manage both technical and procedural changes
- You are experienced in guiding and coaching people through change
- You have experience working with mega vendors such as IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, or Broadcom
- You adapt quickly to changes in context
- You are adept at building strong networks across the company
- You have experience working with various functions, including Legal, Finance, IT, Senior Management, Procurement, and Business representatives, and can understand their perspectives
- You communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences, both internally and externally, at all hierarchical levels
- You influence decision-making processes
- You can lead and coordinate work across different teams
- You possess solid knowledge of finance and accounting
- You have experience managing IT assets using a CMDB and SAM solution, such as FlexNet Manager
- Bonus qualifications: ITIL certification, CSAM certification, or a specific license certification from one of the major vendors listed above
