Finance Business Partner - Oracle Fusion - Oceania
Position Summary
This position will serve as the primary Finance Business Partner for Oracle Fusion applications at DP World Oceania, focusing on business analysis and partnership rather than deep technical support. This role is responsible for defining and refining business requirements for system enhancements, ensuring that Oracle Fusion is effectively utilised to maximize business efficiency. Additionally, the Finance Business Partner will work closely with stakeholders to promote the optimal use of Oracle Fusion`s capabilities, driving continuous improvement and alignment with the organisation`s strategic goals..
Key Accountabilities
- Provide expert-level support for Oracle Fusion Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle Fusion applications in a timely manner
- Act as a liaison between the finance department and IT, translating business needs into technical requirements
- Contact point for progressive Software / Application Upgrade or releases across multiple sites and/or environments
- Partner with business to define functional requirements and develop, document, and elaborate detailed designs and ensure that design includes internal and external SLA.
- Support the planning, execution, and delivery of finance-related IT projects, ensuring they meet business objectives and deadlines.
- Triage business issues and facilitate the resolution of major problems, outages when they occur in a timely fashion and in accordance with SLA’s
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant IT disciplines
- 3+ years of IT industry experience
- 2+ years support Oracle Fusion Cloud or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA) or equivalent experience is desirable
- Experience in a large multinational corporation or complex business environment is desirable
- Experience with EPM (EPBCS and FCCS) is desirable
- Excellent problem resolution skills.
- Build and maintain relationships across Oracle Cloud end users & stakeholders
- Familiarity with global finance operations and multi-currency environments.
