The Technology Contract Review Specialist is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and managing technology-related contracts to ensure compliance with legal, business, and regulatory requirements in India. This on-site role involves working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure contract terms align with organizational objectives and effectively mitigate risks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contract Review and Analysis:
   • Review and analyze technology contracts, including software licenses, service agreements, cloud services agreements, and vendor contracts.
   • Identify and assess potential risks and issues within contract terms.
   • Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
2. Compliance and Risk Management:
   • Identify potential risks and make suggestions as to how to mitigate them.
   • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting technology contracts.
3. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
   • Maintain organized and accurate records of all contract-related documents.
   • Ensure that all contract amendments, renewals, and terminations are properly documented and executed.
4. Collaboration:
   • Work closely with internal stakeholders to address contract-related issues and ensure alignment with business goals.
   • Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and external vendors regarding contract-related inquiries and disputes.
5. Reporting:
   • Prepare and present reports on contract status, key issues, and compliance matters to senior management.
   • Track contract performance metrics and provide insights for improvement.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract management or legal review, with a focus on technology contracts.
• Strong understanding of technology-related agreements, including software licenses, cloud services, and IT services.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to technology contracts.
• Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in contract management (e.g., Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM)) or equivalent Indian certifications.
• Experience with global contracts and knowledge of international regulations is a plus.
