Accounting & Tax Manager
We are looking for a Accounting & Tax Manager to join our team in Kocaeli, Türkiye.
Your Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
- Develop and implement best practices for statutory and group accounting functions.
- Oversee treasury operations and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports, tax returns, and other required filings. • Review and resolve complex reconciliation issues, ensuring all accounting records are accurate.
- Manage, maintain, and optimize the ERP systems (Oracle Fusion & SAP FI & CO), addressing functional and technical issues and ensuring seamless system operations.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and provide guidance on compliance matters.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Support the Accounting & Reporting Manager in all required functions and provide financial insights to senior management.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in tax and accounting management.
- CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong experience in corporate accounting within large, complex organizations.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion and SAP FI & CO is essential.
- Proven ability to lead and manage an accounting team.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with computerized accounting systems.
- Fluency in both English and Turkish, written and spoken.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong business acumen with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines efficiently
