We are looking for an IT Consultant to deliver second and third line technology support and consultancy for the School of Social and Political Science.
The Opportunity:
You will join a team in the School of Social and Political Science to deliver second and third line technology support and consultancy to staff and students in support of excellence in teaching, learning and research.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- HNC/HND or equivalent level qualifications plus typically 3 years relevant IT support experience in a mixed OS environment; or, typically 5 years’ IT support experience in a mixed OS environment, demonstrating development through involvement in progressively more demanding work/roles; or, a degree in a relevant subject, plus typically 2 years relevant IT support experience in a mixed OS environment.
- Experience of supporting, SharePoint-based intranets.
- Experience of Office 365 collaboration suite including OneDrive for Business and Teams.
- Experience of installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and testing computers (PCs and Apple Mac), associated peripherals, and audio-visual equipment.
