Goldstrike- Underground Network & Communications Technician

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Network & Communications Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in developing and guiding projects to support short and long term mine plans.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Underground Network and Communication Supervisor, the Underground Network and Communication Technician is responsible for the following:
- Perform all network and communication maintenance duties required in the mine and on surface. Equipment includes, but not limited to fiber optic network, wireless network, Cisco switches, Radio and radio controls.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Three (3) years experience with underground network and communications preferred
- Formal education in network and/or communications preferred
- Possess strong knowledge/skills in Network & Communications repair, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of complex underground equipment preferred
- Willingness to learn and apply new skills to repair all underground mobile mining equipment required
- Proven safe work record required
- Willingness to work in a team based maintenance organization required
- Strong dedication to safety and courageous leadership required
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP/EAM preferred
