If you have an eye for attention to detail and enjoy general cleaning, you could be perfect for this career. Why not join one of our many teams of cleaners within the Dunfermline area. We have a permanent vacancy to join our team at Dunfermline Museum - cleaning areas as required.
- Post 1 - Cleaner 4 hours every second weekend, working 2 hours on a Saturday & 2 hours on a Sunday – 52 weeks per year. Weekend enhancements are paid for this post.
You will earn a competitive salary of £22,525.71 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
- We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.00 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
- Pay is every 4 weeks.

This work is about ensuring staff and visitors can return to a clean and safe environment every day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.
The Person
Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.
You will be required to attend Induction Training before starting in post.
