Learning Support Assistants (LSA)

- Fixed Term until 31 August 2025, with the possibility of extension beyond this date

- Post One: 23.75 hours per week, 8.30am to 1.15pm
- Post Two: 16.25 hours per week 12pm to 3.15pm
Your role
We are looking to appoint two caring Learning Support Assistants to work one to one as well as with small groups and in support of the class teacher. The role will also include lunch duty both inside and outside. Experience of working in a school is desirable but not essential as support and training will be put in place when appointed.
You will:
- have achieved a grade C or above at GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and mathematics
- have an appropriate level of expertise, qualifications and/or experience
- be patient, calm, compassionate and dedicated
- have high expectations of pupils` achievement and progress
- have good communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
- work as part of a team, forming positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents.
