Principal Member of Technical Staff
Works independently on most projects with very minimal guidance in areas that require experience building and operating mission-critical
systems in industry, e. g. working across teams; making nuanced trade-offs; designing for security, concurrency, availability,
performance,scalability, change; subtle aspects of operating a high-scale service.
Frequently identifies and remediates issues without assistance. Leads root cause analysis efforts and suggests possible solutions. Develops new metrics and dashboards to improve situational awareness. Identifies and implements solutions that reduce operational load (reduce manual touchpoints), increase service availability, improve compliance to org standards and reduce tech debt. Lead the corrective action and preventive action discussions.
