DP World is looking to recruit a Technology Solutions Manager – Freight, Europe. This role is responsible to document business demand and map requirements to potential internal and/or 3rd party technology solution(s). To provide advice and support on industry products in relation to the development and/or improvement of a technology solution. And to support the development and/or operational implementation to deliver a solution. 

About the role

How you will contribute

• You have in-depth understanding of solution design elements and process(es). 
• You are able to analyze the current state and future requirements (medium to long term).
• You analyze quantitative and/or qualitative information to validate requirements. 
• You are able to convert data to consumable information for in- and external stakeholders.  
• You know how to develop best practices related to solution design that contribute to the organizational body of knowledge.
• You design holistic, integrated solutions based on complex business requirements, considering multiple technology options. 
• You are someone who understands the different stakeholders and how to engage them during a business analysis process to ensure deliverables meet requirements.

Futher you will support solution implementation, e.g. 

• Assist with the control of quality delivering projects 
• Monitor project milestones and highlight project risks 
• Give operations support during implementation 
• Validate and continuously align technical project plans and delivery with solution designs
• Support UAT and functional validation 

And also work on reports and documentation, e.g. 

• Prepare presentations and reports for stakeholder engagements
• Identify, implement and report on cost reduction initiatives in a business practice
• Develop business case to support the approval process for solutions 
• Builds roadmap for the delivery of the solution
• Scoping of business requirements to capture technology demand 
• Costing solutions to ensure informed decision making 
• Realisation of technology solutions to enhance and/or enable business
• Explore, validate, document and present technology solutions based on business requirements
• Creative and innovate thinking to continuously improve business via technology 

What you will bring

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree and/or bachelor`s degree with equivalent professional training and certifications, combined with a minimum of 10 years related work experience in a position(s).
• Extensive change management experience.
• Strong process orientation and a solid track record of implementing projects.
• Proficiency on computers and Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to travel occasionally.

• Flexibility to travel - You are ready to travel between 30 - 50% of the time across the globe to our operations to perform audits on site.
• Languages - You speak and write fluent English – additional languages are a bonus, in particular Arabic, Spanish, French, Mandarin, Hindi.
