ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with the HS&E Leader in development, management & maintance of the site HS&EMS – Health safety & Environmental Management System in compliance with EN ISO 14001, , ISO 50001 and with the relevant European and Slovakia Legislation and Corporate policy
• Conducts internal audits in conformity to EN ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 a norma ISO 50001. to assure Health, Safety & Environmental requirements
• Drive implementation and maintain ISO 50001 standard
• Performs the activityies of a member of the energy team according to a designation decree in accordance with STN EN ISO 50 001
• Collaborate with the HSE&Facility Manager in develop, manages & maintain the sites wastes management system in compliance with the relevant European and Slovakia Legislation and Corporate policy
• Acts as a liaison & coordinate any Regulatory, Governmental or Corporate site visits and coordinate corrective actions
• Maintains the education, awareness & behavior of the workforce in relation to Health, Safety & Environmental matters
• Supports development and implementation of educational campaigns and initiative to ensure that Garrett workforce, contractors, visitors, etc…understand and comply with diverse types of HS&E related requirements
• Identifying and providing the HS&E related training needs and when requested develop and deliver the appropriate training courses as certified HSE trainer
• Performing induction HSE and fire prevention trainings
• Participating on HSE risk assessment according internal rules (including risk assessment of new projects, machine HSE pre-acceptance and HSE acceptance with providing support to engineers responsible for project delivery in line with Corporate and local legislation)
• Observes the obligations and duties resulting from the management systems in production, quality, HS&E areas and other external and internal standards and regulations
• Observes work rules and internal HS&E guidelines in the current wording
• Using and improving data collecting system for effective HSE reporting system
• Providing support / mentoring and knowledge sharing within HSE and facility team

WE VALUE:

• University degree ( technical as advantage) with at least 1 year of experience
• Experience in HS&EMS system certified (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001, norma ISO 50001.
• HSE legal certification (authorized safety technician)
• Fire prevention technician license
• Certified internal auditor (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 , ISO 50001.)
• Very good knowledge of HSE European and Slovakia Legislation
• Good PC skills – Excel advanced
• English - fluent
• Good interpersonal skills & ability to lead external companies
• Very good verbal & written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to gain co-operation& commitment to activities required
