Position	Sr. Officer Material Management
Location	Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan
Qualification	Bachelor`s degree in Supply Chain Management, Mining, Business Administration, or related field. Professional certifications in material management or logistics (e.g., CIPS, APICS) are a plus.
Experience	At least 3–5 years of experience in material management, supply chain, or logistics, preferably in the mining or industrial sector.
Requirements	Knowledge of inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Office applications. Ability to analyze data, forecast needs, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to address material shortages, delays, and other logistical challenges in a timely and effective manner. Strong commitment to workplace safety, with a solid understanding of mining industry health, safety, and environmental standards.
Responsibilities	Coordinate with FF, transporter, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials like explosives, equipment, fuel, and spare parts. Evaluate performance and KPIs of FF and transporters. Monitor inventory levels, request materials to prevent shortages, and maintain accurate inventory records. Conduct stock inspections to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards. Implement and manage an inventory control system tracking material usage, stock levels, and replenishment cycles. Prioritize materials based on schedules and urgency, overseeing safe and efficient site movement. Coordinate transportation, logistics, and storage to prevent damage or degradation. Ensure proper material handling, HSSE compliance, and availability of required equipment. Maintain organized, safe warehouse facilities and supervise staff compliance with regulations. Use analytics to forecast needs, optimize stock, and manage hazardous materials safely. Collaborate with departments to meet operational material requirements and maintain stakeholder communication. Prepare reports on inventory, consumption, and supply chain issues while suggesting cost-saving strategies. Contribute to process improvements and identify bottlenecks to enhance material management efficiency.
