Project Coordinator (for Malabon and Navotas)
ROLE PURPOSE:
As the Project Coordinator, you will lead the successful program planning, execution, and
effective partnership management ensuring that programs are inclusive, responsive and climate informed,
well-organized, resources are effectively managed, and goals are achieved in alignment
with Save the Children Country Strategy Plan.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Responsible for leading the codesigning process with children, partners, and other stakeholders including the prototyping, piloting, and iteration of potential innovative initiatives that address issues, gaps, and challenges in children’s rights.
•Leads the timely delivery of quality results and impact by developing and monitoring the implementation of comprehensive project plans and adopting other relevant project management tools using inputs and feedback from partners, and other stakeholders including children.
•In line with the principles of localization or strengthening locally led action, leads the development of partnership plans including provision and sharing of technical expertise and organizational capacity building initiatives
•Leads the establishment and strengthening of local service delivery systems (Integrated Service Delivery Network) that promote adolescents` rights to ASRHR, protection and well-being
•Leads in designing and implementing advocacy and campaigns to influence gender transformative and inclusive policies, programs, institutional and systems strengthening at the local government level (provincial, municipal/city).
•Leads in designing sponsorship operations initiatives that will create meaningful child experience and program participation ensuring that these do not remain as stand-alone initiatives but are incorporated in strategies and approaches aligned with the new Sponsorship Design
•Ensures effective management of initiatives related to Sponsorship Operations (e.g., Annual Family Update, Midyear Eligibility Check (MYEC), correspondence, child enrolment program participation, case stories, materials for marketing, and other GSO requirements)
•Responsible for effective partnership management and on-time and quality project implementation, maintaining accurate and up-to- date project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports; ensures timely and regular submission of status reports and performance metrics for stakeholders and leadership. Responsible for the effective management of sub-award partners or implementing partners.
•Ensures quality documentation of key lessons learned and best practices including the analysis and use of MEAL data for quality programming
•Accountable for the administration and management of project budgets to ensure their judicious and efficient use and compliance with donor/ SCP requirements
OTHER RESPONSIBLITIES:
Additional tasks and responsibilities deemed necessary in the Sponsorship Program may be assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
•A degree in Development Management, Community Development, Social Sciences, Project Management, or a related field.
•Proven experience (at least 3-5 years) in project coordination, implementation, or
management, preferably within community development or child
protection programs.
•Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office suite.
•Knowledge of Human Centered Design Thinking
•Proficiency in project management tools and software, budget management, and data analysis.
•Excellent leadership, team management, and mentorship skills, with a track record of effectively inspiring, empowering, motivating, and managing diverse teams.
•Fluency in the local language(s) and proficiency in English for reporting purposes and communication purposes.
•Experience in participatory approaches, community mobilization, and working with volunteers.
•Experience or Knowledge in Human-centered design thinking
•Experience working with NGOs, development agencies, or community-based programs in a specified location or similar contexts.
•Familiarity with the cultural context and social dynamics of the targeted communities.
•Leadership, budget management and team management skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring staff.
•Communication skills both written and verbal
Strong understanding of project management principles, including planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation.
Experience in budget management.
