Extended Day Lead

- £24,404 per annum pro rata (SCP 3 point 4)
- 22.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year with additional hours available outside of term time

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Extended Day provision, overseeing and enhancing our Breakfast, After School, Activity and Holiday clubs. You will be looking to constantly improve the provision to make it the best possible service for our children.
You will need to be a forward-thinking and proactive individual, confident in your abilities to support primary aged pupils, with a passion for providing high levels of care. The role requires flexibility and your understanding of providing outstanding care will be coupled with an enthusiastic and dedicated approach. The shift pattern will be as follows: Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 9am and 3pm to 6pm.
You will:
- help in developing the environment
- ensure the equipment and resources are stocked and in a good state of repair
- create simple menus for the Breakfast and After School Clubs, keeping this within the budget set
- manage staff rotas, ensuring staff to child ratios are adhered to
- lead the performance management of other staff within the department
- ensure Health and Safety standards are adhered to and relevant paperwork completed
- work with staff to create activity timetables
- constantly be looking for ways to improve our extended day offer.
