Director- Product Strategy- Retail Supply Chain

You possess a strong understanding of the Retail landscape thorough the lenses of Product Strategy and Management background, work backwards from the customer experience and have experience launching multiple customer-facing products. You thrive in a fast-paced environment unhindered by ambiguity; you combine developing and driving high-level strategic initiatives with diving deep, rolling up your sleeves and getting the job done. Maturity, strong business judgment, a customer-centric mindset, negotiation skills, ability to influence and analytical talent are critical to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Product Strategy Director you represent the Products, Customers and retail industry. Within Oracle you are the expert of the industry directing the development teams on long term and strategic roadmaps. To the industry you are the expert in terms of how to best solve retail problems through technology and AI. To our customers you represent positioning these solutions to their business to drive value to their business. This role will focus on driving Merchandising, Planning and Supply Chain innovations through AI embedded within solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Product Vision & Strategy: Define and implement the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Retail Products
- Customer-Centric Approach: Engage with stakeholders to gather insights, ensuring the products address market needs and improve customer experiences.
- Product Development & Innovation: Drive new product development and enhancements to existing solutions, utilizing innovative approaches to meet market demands and improve competitive positioning.
- Deep retail knowledge across Fashion, department stores, Grocery and Hardlines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, marketing, sales, and other teams to manage product releases, integration, and successful deployment to clients.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage market research, analytics, and feedback to inform product direction and prioritize features based on customer impact and business goals.
- Thought Leadership & Evangelism: Serve as a product ambassador, sharing the product vision and strategy through presentations, conferences, and social media.
- Leading solution future by embedding AI and automation to drive value across the end to end retail process
- Quality & Continuous Improvement: Maintain a focus on delivering high-quality solutions and fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor`s Degree
- 10+ years of experience as hands-on product manager for customer facing product.
- Experience launching and operating customer-facing cloud services.
- Experience training sales/field engineers on service/platform features
- Experience in delivering AI focused features embedded in solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15+ years of product management, product design or related experience
- BS degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience (MS Preferred)
- Thorough understanding of retail across all verticals
- Experience at a Retailer in Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain and/or Analytics
